We are currently seeking an experienced and committed Senior Community Care Assistant to join our growing team.
Due to the nature of intimate personal care provided, this position is open to female applicants only, in accordance with the genuine occupational requirement provisions of the Equality Act 2010.
As a Senior Community Care Assistant, you will play a key role in delivering and maintaining high standards of person-centred care to individuals within their own homes.
This role is suited to an experienced care professional who has worked within complex care environments, nurse-led services or community-based care and is looking to take the next step in their career.
You will support individuals with higher levels of need, ensuring care is delivered safely, respectfully and in accordance with individual care plans, risk assessments and Bradcare's quality standards.
Working alongside the management team, you will help promote best practice, support colleagues and contribute to the continued development of our care service.
This is a full-time contracted position with a minimum of 37.5 hours per week, including:

As a Senior Community Care Assistant, you will be responsible for:
Delivering high-quality personal care including washing, dressing, grooming and toileting
Supporting individuals with complex care needs and long-term conditions
Supporting mobility, transfers and safe movement within the home
Assisting with medication administration in line with training and company procedures
Supporting nutrition, hydration and meal preparation
Providing companionship and meaningful social interaction
Supporting individuals living with dementia and other complex needs
Following and contributing to individual care plans and risk assessments
Identifying and reporting changes in health, behaviour or wellbeing
Maintaining accurate care documentation in line with GDPR requirements
Promoting dignity, choice, independence and person-centred outcomes
Supporting less experienced care team members through guidance and positive role modelling
Working collaboratively with families, healthcare professionals and the wider care team
Reporting safeguarding concerns promptly and appropriately
Supporting Bradcare's commitment to excellent CQC standards
We are looking for an experienced and compassionate care professional who is passionate about delivering exceptional standards of support.
The successful candidate will ideally have experience within:
Essential requirements:
Full UK driving licence (essential)
Access to a reliable vehicle
Female applicants only (genuine occupational requirement under the Equality Act 2010)
Existing legal right to work in the UK
Minimum of 3 years' professional care experience
Minimum Level 2 qualification in Health and Social Care (or equivalent)
Strong understanding of person-centred care principles
Experience supporting individuals with complex care requirements
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and make confident decisions
A compassionate, dependable and professional approach
Commitment to ongoing learning, development and further study
