We’re looking for a talented Sous Chef to join our Kitchen team at the Somers Town.
Set in the heart of the city, our venue combines the charm of a classic British pub with a stylish cocktail bar downstairs and meeting rooms that cater to professionals, events and private hires. From Breakfast through to dinner, we serve traditional favourites done properly.

What You’ll Do:
· Support Head Chef in creating an efficient and enjoyable kitchen environment.
· Maintain highest standards of food preparation and presentation to ensure guest satisfaction.
· Assist with regular tastings, training sessions and briefings to keep FOH and junior kitchen teams informed.
· Participate in 121 meetings, appraisals and development plans for junior chefs.
· Collaborate with Head Chef to monitor product quality ensuring excellence in all dishes.
· Assist with stock control and ensure all food is stored, labelled and rotated according to food safety guidelines.
· Ensure compliance with food safety standards to uphold a 5* EHO rating.
· Contribute to the development of new dishes and seasonal menus.
· Maintain excellent communication skills and positive attitude.
About you:
· Previous experience in similar role.
· A passion and knowledge of restaurants and good food.
· Strong understanding of food safety and hygiene standards.
· The ability to work under pressure.
· An appetite to learn and grow within the company.
