About Us
We are a growing local property investment and management business expanding our portfolio of HMOs and Serviced Accommodations. We pride ourselves on high standards, efficiency, and building a professional team. We are looking for a reliable, practical individual to join us on a part-time basis to help maintain our portfolio and assist with upcoming refurbishments.
Who We Are Looking For
This role is ideally suited for a part-retired tradesperson, a skilled multi-trade handyman, or someone already managing ad-hoc local work who is looking for steady, flexible supplemental income. You are practical, trustworthy, and take pride in doing a good job. You don't need supervision every minute of the day; you can look at a problem, figure it out, and get it sorted.
Key Responsibilities
- Property Maintenance: General day-to-day repairs across our portfolio (fixing fixtures, minor plumbing, changing locks, touch-up painting, and general snagging).
- Grounds & Exterior: Routine garden maintenance, weeding, and keeping external areas tidy and presentable for guests and tenants.
- Refurbishment Support: Assisting with property strip-outs, prep work, and basic refurbs on newly acquired units.
- Logistics: Driving company vehicles (van/pick-up) to transport materials, tools, or furniture when required.
What We Provide
- Fully Equipped: Company van, pick-up truck, all heavy tools, and materials are provided. You don’t need to supply your own kit or absorb vehicle running costs.
- Flexible Working: We understand life balance. Work is scheduled collaboratively across the week. If business is quiet, hours scale back naturally without friction.
- Transparent Tracking: Weekly time sheets submitted for prompt, reliable weekly or monthly pay.
Requirements
- A practical, "can-do" multi-trade background (basic carpentry, painting, general repair skills).
- A reliable, honest, and professional work ethic.
- A full UK driving licence (essential for driving company vehicles).
- Good communication skills and the ability to log hours accurately via weekly timesheets.
