About the Role
We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Labourer to join our growing team based in Blackpool. The successful candidate will support a variety of property maintenance, refurbishment and repair works across residential and commercial properties.
This role is ideal for an individual with previous labouring experience and basic joinery skills who takes pride in delivering high-quality work and excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities
- Assisting tradespeople with day-to-day maintenance and repair works.
- Carrying out general labouring duties on occupied and void properties.
- Completing basic joinery tasks including: Removing existing kitchen wall units and putting them back
- Loading, unloading and transporting materials and equipment.
- Maintaining clean, safe and organised work areas.
- Collecting and delivering materials as required.
- Reporting defects, issues and material requirements to supervisors.
- Adhering to all health and safety procedures and company policies.
Essential Requirements
- Previous experience in a labouring role.
- Basic joinery experience and ability to carry out minor carpentry repairs.
- Full UK Driving Licence.
- Good understanding of health and safety practices.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong work ethic and positive attitude.
- Good communication skills and professional manner.
Desirable Requirements
- Experience working within social housing, maintenance or property repairs.
- CSCS Card.
- Experience using a range of hand and power tools.
- Ability to complete basic paperwork.
