The Role
As a Speech & Language Therapist, you'll work across a portfolio of London schools, delivering tailored, evidence-based interventions that help children reach their full potential.
This is a varied and rewarding role where you'll work closely with education staff, families and fellow clinicians to provide high-quality, child-centred support.
You'll manage your own caseload while benefiting from regular clinical supervision, ongoing CPD and the support of an experienced multidisciplinary team.
What You'll Be Doing
- Managing a varied paediatric caseload across partner schools.
- Completing assessments and delivering individual and group Speech & Language Therapy interventions.
- Supporting children with speech, language and communication needs, including EHCP-led work where appropriate.
- Working collaboratively with Occupational Therapists, Psychotherapists and education professionals to achieve the best outcomes for children.
- Delivering advice, guidance and training to school staff and parents.
- Producing high-quality clinical reports and maintaining accurate records.
- Contributing to service development and continuous improvement.
Depending on your experience, you'll also have opportunities to mentor junior colleagues, supervise trainees, support service development projects and take the lead on specialist initiatives.
About You
You'll be:
- HCPC registered and a member of the RCSLT.
- Qualified with a BSc or MSc in Speech & Language Therapy (or equivalent).
- Passionate about supporting children and young people.
- Confident managing your own workload and working independently across multiple school settings.
- An excellent communicator with strong relationship-building skills.
- Organised, proactive and committed to delivering high-quality clinical practice.
Experience working within schools, with primary-aged children or managing EHCP caseloads would be advantageous, but applications are welcomed from clinicians at different stages of their careers.
