Ryton Roofers is a roofing company operating across the North East. We're looking for an experienced, detail-focused Estimator to join our growing team. The Role This is an in-depth, customer-facing estimating role.
You'll own the job from first contact through to a fully specified plan of action, including: Attending initial customer appointments to assess the property and understand requirements Carrying out full job specifications — measurements, materials, and scope of works
Producing a clear plan of action for each job, outlining what's required for the works to be carried out
Pricing jobs accurately based on materials, labour, and site conditions
Communicating clearly with customers throughout the quoting process
Liaising with the operations team to ensure specifications are handed over correctly for scheduling and delivery
What We're Looking For
Experience in roofing, construction, or a related trade estimating role
Strong attention to detail and the ability to produce accurate, thorough specifications
Confident, professional manner when dealing directly with customers
Good organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple jobs at once
