Join the Butchery Team at R D Johns Ltd
R D Johns Ltd is looking for a hardworking and reliable Evening Production Assistant to join our busy Butchery department at Milber. Working as part of a fast-paced team, you will help ensure customer orders are picked, packed, checked, and ready for distribution while maintaining the highest standards of food safety and hygiene. Based on Production Assistant.
Key Responsibilities Accurately pick and pack customer orders. Ensure all order deadlines are met for depot and lorry transfers. Carry out quality checks on products during the picking process. Maintain stock rotation and report any shortages or quality concerns. Assist with processing and preparation work as required. Follow HACCP procedures and food safety standards. Keep work areas clean, organised, and safe. Comply with all company Health & Safety procedures. Wear and maintain the correct PPE provided. Demonstrate excellent timekeeping, particularly during busy periods.
The Ideal Candidate:
What We're Looking For: A positive attitude and strong work ethic. Good attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team. Reliable attendance and punctuality. Previous food production, warehouse, or picking experience is desirable but not essential as full training will be provided.
