Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of commercial premises, including offices, restrooms, kitchens, and common areas using appropriate cleaning equipment and supplies
- Maintain high standards of hygiene by dusting, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and disinfecting surfaces regularly
- Restock supplies such as paper towels, soap dispensers, and toilet paper to ensure facilities are fully equipped
- Follow health and safety guidelines diligently to prevent accidents and ensure a safe working environment
- Report any maintenance issues or damages promptly to management for swift resolution
- Adhere to cleaning schedules and complete tasks efficiently within designated timeframes
- Use janitorial experience to handle specialized cleaning tasks when required, such as carpet cleaning or window washing
Qualifications
- Proven experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial roles preferred but not essential; training will be provided for the right candidate
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining attention to detail
- Strong understanding of health and safety procedures related to cleaning operations
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively during shifts
- Reliable with a positive attitude and a commitment to delivering quality service
- Physical ability to stand, bend, lift, and perform manual cleaning tasks throughout the shift
