Job Summary

Duties
- Lead and manage daily nursery activities, ensuring a safe and engaging environment for children
- Supervise and support nursery staff, providing guidance, mentorship, and performance feedback
- Plan and implement age-appropriate educational activities that promote learning and development
- Maintain open communication with parents and guardians, providing updates on children’s progress and well-being
- Ensure compliance with all childcare regulations, health and safety standards, and company policies
- Conduct regular risk assessments and maintain accurate records of attendance, incidents, and developmental milestones
- Foster a positive team culture that encourages collaboration, professional growth, and high-quality care
Skills
- Proven management and leadership experience within early childhood education or childcare settings
- Extensive experience working with children in a nursery or preschool environment
- Strong understanding of child development principles and early childhood education best practices
- Excellent communication skills in English to effectively interact with children, parents, and team members
- Ability to lead by example, motivate staff, and handle challenging situations with professionalism
- Valid driving license is preferred for transporting children or attending off-site activities
- Exceptional organizational skills to manage daily operations efficiently while maintaining attention to detail
Pay: £29,000.00-£30,400.00 per year
