We are seeking a dedicated Packing and Dispatch operative to join our stockroom team. Responsibilities
- Packing goods securely and accurately according to order specifications
- Loading and unloading items using appropriate handling techniques
- Stocking shelves and organising stock within the stockroom for easy retrieval
- Conducting quality control checks to ensure products meet company standards before dispatch
- Assisting in inventory management, including stock rotation and cycle counts
- Ensuring health and safety procedures are followed during all handling activities
- Maintaining a clean, organised workspace to promote efficiency and safety
Qualifications
- Prior experience in warehousing, shipping & receiving, or related roles is preferred
- Strong organisational skills with attention to detail for picking & packing tasks
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently
- Good understanding of materials handling procedures and safety protocols
- Proven ability to work effectively within a team environment in a fast-paced setting
- Physical fitness to handle manual tasks throughout shifts
