Role: Electrical and Hydraulic Fitter
Salary: £17.90 - £26.85 PH DOE (OT at x1.5)
Hours: Monday to Thursday – Day Shift
Location: Worksop
We are currently recruiting for an experienced Electrical and Hydraulic Fitter to join our client’s Manufacturing team in Worksop. This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established manufacturer with strong long-term career prospects. The successful candidate will be responsible for assembling and fitting electrical and hydraulic systems to a high standard, ensuring all work meets build specifications, quality requirements, and health & safety standards. To be considered for this role, you should have experience within a manufacturing or engineering environment and be confident working from engineering drawings and specifications.

Electrical and Hydraulic Fitter Responsibilities
- Interpret electrical and hydraulic drawings accurately and work to build specifications
- Carry out electrical, hydraulic, and electro-mechanical assembly and fitting activities
- Ensure all work is completed to a high standard in line with quality requirements and BS EN ISO 9001 standards
- Take responsibility for the quality and accuracy of completed work
- Maintain excellent housekeeping standards and adhere to all health & safety procedures
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to meet production schedules and manufacturing targets
- Support planning activities and continuous improvement initiatives
- Assist across departments and adapt to different tasks when required
- Contribute positively to a supportive and team-focused working environment
Electrical and Hydraulic Fitter Requirements
- Previous training or experience in fitting, hydraulics, pneumatics, electrical systems, or a related discipline
- Experience working within a manufacturing, engineering, or production environment
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, schematics, and technical specifications
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work to production schedules
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work
- Team-focused attitude with strong communication skills
- Willingness to learn, develop new skills, and support business needs where required
- Auto-electrical qualifications and CANbus knowledge would be advantageous
- Flexible approach to overtime when required
