Don't just take our word for it...
“I was very sceptical about leaving my old job but I’m so glad I took the leap and applied for my position at Apollo. Best thing I ever did, I get to spend more time with my children and watch them grow. Everyone is so friendly and easy to approach if you have a problem.”
About This Role
We are looking for compassionate and reliable Healthcare Assistants to join a dedicated care team supporting an 11-year-old girl with complex healthcare needs in her own home.
Our client enjoys spending time with her family and school friends, hydrotherapy, sensory and tactile activities, getting out and about, and playful interaction, including rough-and-tumble play. The role involves providing person-centred support with daily routines, personal care, mobility, medication, nutrition and hydration, as well as a range of clinical interventions.
The ideal candidate will be caring, patient and engaging, with the ability to understand and respond to our client’s individual communication style and needs. Building a positive relationship with her and supporting her to enjoy her daily activities and family life will be an important part of the role.
An essential part of this position is supporting our client with hydrotherapy to help manage her hip pain. Candidates must therefore be comfortable entering the hot tub with our client throughout the year and being exposed to the chemicals used, which are similar to those found in a swimming pool.
If you are dependable, passionate about providing high-quality care and enjoy making a genuine difference in a young person’s life, we would love to hear from you.
Please note: Due to the nature of our vacancies, our clients have the right to request either female or male staff.
“This isn't just a job – it’s your opportunity to make a real difference in someone’s life.”
