Part Time Morning Cleaner

We are looking for reliable and thorough cleaners to join the team at Moods Leeds.
Moods is a busy café, bar and restaurant based in First White Cloth Hall in Leeds city centre. We are looking for someone who takes pride in keeping a venue clean and ready for the day ahead.
You’ll work as part of a small cleaning team, with two cleaners on each morning. Most shifts will be 6am to 8am, with some longer shifts available for deeper cleaning.
What you’ll be doing
- Cleaning the café, bar and restaurant areas before opening
- Cleaning and restocking customer toilets
- Vacuuming, sweeping and mopping floors
- Wiping and cleaning tables, surfaces and fixtures
- Emptying bins and replacing liners
- Cleaning entrances and circulation areas
- Completing scheduled deeper cleaning tasks
- Keeping cleaning equipment and supplies organised
- Reporting any damage, maintenance issues or low stock
- Making sure the venue is clean and ready for customers each morning
What we’re looking for
We’re looking for someone who is:
- Reliable and punctual, particularly with early morning starts
- Thorough with good attention to detail
- Comfortable working independently and as part of a small team
- Able to work efficiently within a two hour morning shift
- Happy to work some weekends
- Experienced in commercial, hospitality or similar cleaning, although this isn’t essential
Hours
This role will usually be 8 to 12 hours per week, spread across morning shifts.
Standard shifts are 6am to 8am, with occasional longer morning shifts for deeper cleaning.
The venue operates seven days a week, so we’re looking for people with some flexibility across weekdays and weekends.
Pay
£14 per hour
