Responsibilities:
- Dispense medications accurately and efficiently according to prescriptions
- Provide patient counseling on medication usage, side effects, and interactions
- Collaborate with pharmacists and healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care
- Maintain inventory of medications and supplies, and place orders as needed
- Perform medication reconciliation and review patient profiles for potential drug interactions
- Adhere to all pharmacy regulations and guidelines for safety and confidentiality
Skills:
- Medication Administration: Proficient in accurately dispensing medications and providing appropriate dosage instructions to patients
processing, inventory management, and medication compounding
- Patient Care: Ability to communicate effectively with patients, answer their questions, and address their concerns regarding medications
