The Governors of Minera VA School wish to appoint an enthusiastic and creative teacher for a temporary post, due to start September 26. This is for a 12 month contract initially with a view to making the post permanent.

Believe in a holistic approach to teaching and learning where the well-being of pupils is at the core of your practice.
Demonstrate high expectations and an understanding of the diverse range of children’s learning and behavioural needs.
Awareness of new initiatives within teaching such as the Curriculum for Wales and Additional Learning Needs (ALN) Reform.
Be able to demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills to work within the school team, effectively manage and support teaching assistants and communicate well with parents/guardians.
Be confident and creative in the use of digital technology.
Be willing to take an active part in the wider life of the school.
Visits to the school are warmly welcomed and can be arranged by appointment on the following dates:
Tuesday 2nd June 3:15pm
Thursday 4th June 3:15pm
Tuesday 9th June 3:15pm
The closing date for applications is Friday 12th June
Interviews will take place on week commencing 22nd June. Lesson observations will be conducted as part of the interview process.
