Role Overview
Creating unforgettable experiences—and we’re looking for a hands-on, creative BBQ, Snoker & Street Food Chef to join our team at Lugh & Paddy’s
This is a dynamic, operational ‘Team Player ‘role where you’ll lead our kitchen, develop exciting menus, especially for the future! This is massive development annd lead with your ideas. We want you as the king or queen of food expression , to deliver exceptional food experiences across events. You’ll combine leadership, hands-on cooking, and creativity to ensure every guest enjoys a memorable day.
What the Role Involves:
DEVELOP and Build our menus and offerings!
· Leading high-volume street food operations—BBQ, pizza, smoked meats, Tandoori oven, rotisseries, hog roast, and sides
· Creating and evolving menus to keep offerings fresh and on-trend
.Top presentation and pride in the food
· Ensuring food hygiene, health, and safety standards are met at all times
· Collaborating with the Bar Manager and event Coordinators to deliver seamless event catering
· Providing excellent customer service and supporting bar operations when needed
· Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and peak season events
What We’re Looking For:
· 2–3 years’ experience in a similar hands-on culinary role
· Expertise in BBQ, pizza, and high-volume street food preparation
· Creative, proactive, and able to develop new culinary concepts
· Strong understanding of food hygiene and compliance
· Energetic, customer-focused, and a team player
Qualifications & Requirements:
· Food hygiene certification (current)
· Relevant chef qualifications or equivalent culinary experience or training
· GCSEs in Maths and English (or equivalent)
· Ability to work weekends, evenings, and peak periods
· Proof of eligibility to work in the UK
