Overview
Join our dynamic team as an HGV Class 1 Bulk Powder Tanker Driver and take on an exciting role that combines professional driving with specialized bulk powder transportation. In this position, you will be responsible for safely operating large tanker vehicles to deliver bulk powders to various locations nationwide.
Duties
- Safely operate HGV Class 1 vehicles equipped with bulk powder tankers, adhering to all traffic laws and company safety policies
- Conduct thorough pre-trip inspections of the vehicle and tanker equipment to ensure optimal safety and compliance
- Plan delivery routes efficiently, considering delivery schedules, road conditions, and load requirements
- Delivering Cement and Lime based products.
- This role will involve nights out
- Various shift pattens available for the right candiate
Skills
- Proven experience in commercial driving, particularly with bulk powder would be an advantage but we are willing to train the right candiate.
- Ability to plan routes efficiently and adapt quickly to changing conditions or delivery priorities.
- Physical capability to handle loading/unloading tasks safely when needed
Pay: £12.71-£25.42 per hour
