Customer Service Coordinator (Technical)
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join Hi Spec Motorsport Ltd, a long-established British engineering company and one of the UK's leading manufacturers of bespoke brake kits and braking components for road, classic, race and kit cars.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a mechanical engineering background who enjoys working with customers and wants to develop into a technical product specialist.
Full product training will be provided, but we're looking for someone who is eager to learn and can quickly build the technical knowledge needed to deliver an excellent end-to-end customer experience.
The Role
You'll be the first point of contact for our retail and trade customers, providing technical advice, managing enquiries and ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.
Key responsibilities include:
- Advising customers on products and escalating complex technical queries when required
- Managing customer enquiries by phone and email
- Assisting with website enquiries and helping to ensure online product information is accurate and up to date, this will include working on the back end of our website
- Processing orders and maintaining accurate records on our internal systems
- Monitoring customer orders and delivery timescales
- Liaising with our Technical, Design, Administration and Finance teams to ensure a smooth customer journey
- Building strong relationships with new and existing customers
- Gathering customer feedback and identifying opportunities to improve service
Please note: This is not a cold-calling or sales role. You'll be supporting existing retail and trade customers with genuine enquiries and technical advice.
About You
- A strong mechanical engineering background (an engineering degree is desirable)
- A keen interest in motorcars and automotive engineering
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Confidence and strong experience using computer systems and Microsoft Office
- Good computer skills, with confidence using Microsoft Office and website content management systems
- Strong problem-solving ability and attention to detail
- The ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
- Good organisational and administrative skills
- A willingness to learn and develop technical expertise

Pay: £27,000.00-£29,000.00 per year
