Duties
- Assist in preparing ingredients and components for various dishes under supervision
- Learn and support the cooking process, including basic food preparation techniques
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of workstations in accordance with food safety standards
- Help with the organisation and storage of ingredients and supplies
- Support the team during meal service, ensuring timely delivery of dishes
- Follow all health and safety regulations to ensure a safe working environment
- Participate in training sessions to develop culinary skills and knowledge of kitchen procedures
Requirements
- A genuine interest in food preparation and cooking, with a desire to learn and grow within the culinary field
- Previous experience in a restaurant or kitchen environment is advantageous but not essential
- Basic understanding of food safety practices and hygiene standards
- Strong organisational skills with an ability to work efficiently under supervision
