The role is to support the Finance team deliver a high quality, customer focussed service ensuring that the insurance procedures are implemented in line with legal obligations and industry best practice processes.
What I am accountable for:

Lead on improving insurance risk management and focus awareness on reducing and managing insurance claims and good governance, challenging the status of liability where appropriate.

Develop, implement and maintain an effective insurance service and insurance framework, giving assurance that all claims are efficiently and promptly managed to maximise the best possible outcome.

Support the development and delivery of insurance training and materials to the business.

Manage the internal claims process for all divisions, liaising with the appointed broker, external insurers and relevant stakeholders in the business to ensure efficient, customer-focused resolution.

Establish a collaborative approach to effective claims handing and investigating, whilst developing action plans for the mitigation of risks.

Maintain records of claims history for relevant policies, collating data on all relevant loss and potential loss incidents to help identify significant trends to produce and present reports for the Leadership Team.

Lead on the quarterly updates and annual insurance premium renewal in a timely manner with an aim to achieve a reduction in premiums, challenging the broker where appropriate.

Provide guarantee that mhs homes has the appropriate level of insurance in place to cover all legal and statutory requirements and provide advice of the mitigated risk associated with our policies.

Maintain knowledge, trends and innovation in insurance practices and markets to make certain that mhs homes insurance approach is regularly evaluated and optimised to meet the evolving requirements of the business.

Administering customer satisfaction surveys and supporting project tasks as needed.
