Experienced Travel Consultant
Location: Grassington, North Yorkshire
Salary: £30,000 per year
Hours: 35 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 09:00 to 17:00 with a 1-hour unpaid lunch break

About the Role
Euroventure is looking for an experienced Travel Consultant to join our team in the Travel Lounge in Grassington.
This is a varied role covering sales, bookings, customer service and administration. We are looking for someone with strong travel agency, tour operator or travel sales experience, ideally at least 5 years, who can confidently advise customers and convert enquiries into bookings.
You will help customers plan European rail holidays, group tours, cruises and tailor-made trips. That means understanding their requirements, giving clear advice, building relationships, creating suitable itineraries and booking all elements of the trip accurately.
This is a salaried role with no commission structure, so the focus is on high-quality consultation, customer service and long-term relationships.
About Euroventure
Euroventure specialises in European rail holidays, bespoke travel planning, group tours and tailor-made itineraries although the wider Travel Lounge offers a broader range of products to destinations worldwide.
We are a small, friendly and ambitious team. We care about giving excellent advice, solving problems properly and delivering memorable trips for our customers. We work hard, support each other and take pride in the excellent reviews we receive.

About You

- Experienced in travel sales, ideally with at least 5 years in a travel agency, tour operator or tailor-made travel environment.
- Confident selling consultatively rather than simply processing bookings.
- Commercially aware, with the ability to convert enquiries into bookings.
- Friendly, professional and confident speaking to customers face-to-face, by phone and by email.
- Detail oriented, especially with dates, prices, routes, passenger details and customer requirements.

- Calm under pressure and able to deal with unexpected situations.
- Passionate about travel.

The following would be an advantage:
- European rail knowledge.
- Cruise sales experience.
