About the Role
We are seeking an experienced CCTV Drainage Engineer to join our growing drainage and infrastructure team. This is a hands-on role involving CCTV surveys, drainage investigations, condition reporting, and remedial works across a variety of commercial and infrastructure projects.
The successful candidate will be responsible for operating an IPEK Camera Van, carrying out detailed drainage inspections, producing accurate survey data, and assisting with remedial works where required.
Please note that night work and working away from home are a regular part of this role, so flexibility is essential.
Essential Requirements
- OS19X Qualified
- Minimum 5 years' experience as a CCTV Drainage Engineer
- Full UK Driving Licence
- HPWJ (High Pressure Water Jetting) qualification
- Confined Space qualification
- CSCS Card
- Experience operating CCTV survey equipment and reporting systems
- Experience using IPEK Camera Vans
- Ability to read and interpret drawings, drainage plans, and utility maps
- Strong understanding of drainage networks and survey methodologies
- Excellent attention to detail and reporting skills
Desirable Skills & Experience
- CIPP Patching experience
- Experience with Picote Miller Machines
- Drain lining experience
- Experience working on commercial, utility, and infrastructure projects
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct CCTV drainage surveys in accordance with industry standards
- Operate and maintain IPEK Camera Van equipment
- Produce accurate drainage condition reports and survey documentation
- Interpret drainage drawings, plans, and utility maps
- Identify defects and recommend remedial solutions
- Carry out drainage investigations and asset verification works
- Support patching, lining, and rehabilitation activities where required
- Work safely in confined spaces and follow company health & safety procedures
- Travel to sites across the region and stay away when required
