Job Summary:
Azad Fabrication & Engineering Ltd is seeking a Fabrication Operations Manager to oversee fabrication and manufacturing operations, ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards.
This role is ideal for an experienced operations professional with a background in fabrication, metal manufacturing, or engineering production. You will lead operational teams, optimise workflows, manage production schedules, and support continuous improvement across the business.
What you'll do:
- Manage daily fabrication and manufacturing operations.
- Plan production schedules and allocate labour, materials, and equipment.
- Lead fabrication teams to achieve quality, productivity, and delivery targets.
- Monitor production performance and implement operational improvements.
- Coordinate with engineering, procurement, logistics, and project teams.
- Ensure fabrication work complies with quality, safety, and industry standards.
- Oversee equipment maintenance and operational readiness.
- Review production costs, budgets, and resource utilisation.
- Resolve production challenges and minimise downtime.
- Support workforce development through coaching and performance management.
- Prepare operational reports and monitor key performance indicators.
- Promote a strong culture of health, safety, and continuous improvement.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in fabrication, manufacturing, engineering, production, or industrial operations.
- Strong leadership and operational management skills.
- Good understanding of fabrication processes, welding, machining, or metal manufacturing is beneficial.
- Experience managing production schedules, resources, and budgets.
- Excellent communication, planning, and organisational abilities.
- Knowledge of health, safety, and quality management systems.
- Ability to solve operational issues and improve efficiency.
- Engineering, manufacturing, or operations qualifications are advantageous.

Pay: £4,500.00-£6,000.00 per month
