Senior Sous Chef – The Station Hotel, Birstwith
We’re The Station Hotel – a much-loved country inn with five cosy guest bedrooms, a sunny beer garden, and plenty of character. Just a short 15-minute drive from the centre of Harrogate, we’re proud to serve fresh, seasonal food to our lovely locals and guests alike.
We’re on the lookout for a Senior Sous Chef to join our small, friendly team and help keep our kitchen running smoothly.
What the role involves
- Working closely with our Head Chef to keep things ticking along in the kitchen
- Making sure our five-star food hygiene standards are always met
- Cooking fresh, tasty dishes with quality ingredients
- Supporting and guiding junior team members
- Keeping on top of stock rotation and kitchen organisation
What we’re looking for
- Previous experience
- A real passion for good food and fresh ingredients
- Someone who’s organised, reliable, and a great team player
- Good knowledge of food hygiene standards
- Able to get to work reliably with your own transport
