We are looking for an experienced and motivated Stonemason / Fabricator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for fabricating high-quality stone worktops from granite, quartz, porcelain, and other solid surface materials. This is a hands-on role that requires excellent attention to detail, a strong work ethic, and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
Key Responsibilities
- Fabricate granite, quartz, porcelain, and other stone worktops to a high standard.
- Read and interpret technical drawings and cutting plans.
- Operate CNC machinery, bridge saws, edge polishers, and hand tools safely and efficiently.
- Polish, finish, and inspect products to ensure excellent quality.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organised workshop.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to meet production schedules and deadlines.
- Follow all health and safety procedures.
Requirements
- Previous experience in stone fabrication and masonry is preferred.
- Experience working with granite, quartz, porcelain, and engineered stone.
- Ability to use fabrication machinery and hand tools.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality workmanship.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work well within a team.
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills.
