About Us
We are a growing property compliance company carrying out Electrical Installation Condition Reports (EICRs) for housing associations, property management companies, estate agents and landlords across London and the surrounding areas.
We are looking for a reliable self-employed electrician who is looking for regular, ongoing work.
The Role
You will be carrying out domestic EICRs at residential properties throughout London. Jobs are booked and organised by our office, allowing you to focus on completing inspections and providing a professional service.
Most days will consist of multiple inspections within the same area to minimise travel time.
Responsibilities
- Carry out domestic EICRs in accordance with BS 7671.
- Complete digital EICR certificates accurately.
- Identify and record any remedial works required.
- Communicate professionally with tenants, landlords and clients.
- Arrive on time and provide excellent customer service.
- Ensure all work is completed safely and to a high standard.
Requirements
- NVQ Level 3 Electrical Installation or equivalent.
- 18th Edition Wiring Regulations.
- Inspection & Testing qualification (2391 or equivalent preferred).
- Full UK driving licence.
- Own van, tools and testing equipment.
- Public Liability Insurance.
- Experience carrying out domestic EICRs.
- NICEIC or NAPIT registration is preferred but not essential.
