Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Junior Purchasing Administrator to join our procurement team. They will play a key role in supporting the Group Procurement function, ensuring the timely, cost-effective and compliant sourcing of goods and services. The position requires strong attention to detail, excellent organisational skills and effective time management to maintain accurate purchasing records and support overall operational efficiency across the business.
Key Responsibilities
Purchase Order Management:
· Raise and process purchase orders via the system’s accurately and promptly.
· Expedite orders to meet delivery deadlines and report any issues.
Supplier Communication & Issue Resolution:
· Liaise with suppliers via email and phone.
· Report delivery problems using the NCR (Non-Conformance Report) system.
Consumables & Workwear:
· Order consumables such as PPE, stationery, and workshop supplies.
· Organise laundry services for workwear.
Data & System Management:
· Maintain and update registers for PPE, maintenance, forklift trucks and equipment calibration.
· Coordinate calibration services for all relevant equipment to ensure regulatory compliance.
Waste Management:
· Oversee waste disposal processes in compliance with regulations.
Pay: £25,000.00 per year
