Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and passionate Room Team Leader for our Nursery to inspire and guide a team dedicated to providing exceptional early childhood care and education. As a pivotal part of our nursery community, you will lead daily operations, foster a nurturing environment for children, and ensure high standards of safety, learning, and development. Duties
- Lead and manage the nursery team in a room to deliver outstanding childcare and early childhood education services
- Oversee daily activities, ensuring they are engaging, age-appropriate, and aligned with developmental milestones
- Communicate effectively with parents and guardians to share progress, address concerns, and build strong relationships
- Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and licensing regulations to create a secure environment for children and staff
- Coordinate schedules, manage resources, and oversee the implementation of curriculum plans
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the quality of care and learning experiences within the nursery
Requirements
- Proven experience in a childcare or nursery setting with leadership responsibilities
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a diverse team
- Extensive experience working with children in early childhood education or childcare environments
- Knowledge of nursery operations, health & safety standards, and child development principles
- Excellent communication skills in English to effectively interact with children, parents, and team members
- Passionate about early childhood development with a proactive approach to problem-solving

Pay: £28,000.00-£28,500.00 per year
