Self-Employed Hotel & Airbnb Cleaner
Cricklade / South Cerney / Cotswolds / Swindon
We are looking for a reliable, detail-focused Self-Employed Hotel & Airbnb Cleaner to join our growing team.
The role will initially include regular hotel room cleaning alongside Airbnb and holiday-let changeovers, including properties potentially up to an hour drive from Swindon as our cleaning and property-management portfolio expands.
This role would suit someone who takes pride in high standards, is comfortable working independently and can be relied upon to prepare accommodation consistently and efficiently for incoming guests.
The Role
Typical duties will include:
- Hotel room changeover cleans
- Airbnb and holiday-let changeovers
- Cleaning and sanitising kitchens and bathrooms
- Dusting and wiping all surfaces
- Vacuuming and mopping floors
- Emptying bins
- Stripping used bedding
- Making beds with fresh linen
- Replacing towels
- Replenishing guest essentials where required
- Checking properties for damage or maintenance issues
- Reporting any concerns promptly
- Completing a final presentation check before guest arrival
- Cleaning communal areas where required
- Following property-specific cleaning checklists and standards
Travel Requirements
A full UK driving licence and access to your own reliable vehicle are essential.
Work will initially be based around Swindon, Cricklade, South Cerney and surrounding areas, but additional jobs may occasionally require travel of up to approximately one hour.
Where agreed travel is required outside the normal working area, petrol/mileage costs will be paid separately.

Previous experience in hotel housekeeping, Airbnb cleaning, holiday lets, serviced accommodation or professional cleaning would be highly beneficial.
Working Pattern
This is a self-employed, flexible role, with work offered according to hotel occupancy and accommodation bookings.
Hours will vary from week to week and may include weekdays, weekends and bank holidays.
As the business continues to grow, there is good potential for additional hours, regular properties and increased responsibility.

- Excellent reliability and timekeeping
- Previous professional cleaning experience preferred
- Public liability insurance desirable
Rates will depend on the type, size and location of the accommodation being cleaned.
