Axon Garside, an award-winning and forward-thinking HubSpot Diamond Partner, is searching for a driven and consultative Sales Development Representative (SDR) to join our ambitious team.
We specialise in helping B2B organisations transform how they market, sell, and grow with HubSpot. Our services include implementation, onboarding, optimisation, support, integration, web development, and consultancy. We’re also on a journey to become one of the UK’s first truly AI-ready HubSpot partners, helping businesses prepare for and adopt AI in their sales and marketing operations.
The Role
This is not a typical entry-level SDR role. You’ll be responsible for generating and qualifying opportunities, nurturing prospects, and managing the end-to-end sales cycle for smaller HubSpot projects. For larger, complex deals, you’ll work closely with our Commercial Director to shape proposals, pitches, and closing strategies.
You’ll also take ownership of sales campaigns, using modern tactics and tools to drive engagement and build pipeline. Alongside consultative selling, you’ll help scale our productised CRM offering - a streamlined HubSpot solution designed for businesses seeking rapid implementation.
We’ll provide a structured onboarding plan in your first month, with a focus on demonstrating ROI within your first three months. This role has a clear pathway to progress into a Business Development Manager position, owning larger, more complex opportunities end-to-end.
Key Responsibilities
- Generate and qualify new business opportunities across technology, SaaS, professional services, and manufacturing sectors.
- Take ownership of sales campaigns, including outreach, sequencing, and multi-channel engagement.
- Run consultative discovery conversations to understand prospect needs.
- Manage end-to-end sales for smaller HubSpot projects (typically up to £10k–£15k).
- Collaborate with the Commercial Director on larger, complex deals (£30k–£100k+).
- Present Axon Garside’s HubSpot services and productised CRM solutions in a clear, ROI-driven way.
- Work with HubSpot’s direct sales team and leverage marketing-generated leads.
- Accurately track pipeline, campaigns, and activity in HubSpot CRM.
Key Requirements
- 2–4 years’ experience in B2B consultative sales or business development (ideally SaaS, CRM, or professional services).
- Proven ability to run structured discovery calls and qualify complex buying needs.
- Experience using modern sales tactics, including:
- CRM platforms such as HubSpot or Salesforce
- Prospecting automation and sequencing tools
- LinkedIn Sales Navigator
- Platforms like Apollo, Surfe, ZoomInfo (or equivalents)
- Track record of closing smaller deals independently.
- Strong communicator who builds trust with senior decision-makers across sales, marketing, IT, and leadership.
- Entrepreneurial and driven - you make things happen and thrive on results.
- Interest in the role of AI in sales and marketing.
What We Offer
- £40,000 base salary
- OTE £60,000, uncapped, with accelerators for overachievement
- 25 days holiday, increasing with service, plus your birthday off
- Hybrid working: 3 days in our Manchester office, 2 from home
- Structured onboarding and ramp-up:
- Month 1: Training, HubSpot certifications, shadowing
- Month 2: Building and qualifying your own pipeline
- Month 3: Demonstrating ROI through closed deals and pipeline growth
- Clear progression to Business Development Manager, with full ownership of complex deals
