Job Summary
We are seeking a vigilant and dependable Security Guard to safeguard our premises, staff, and assets. The ideal candidate will be responsible for monitoring security systems, patrolling designated areas, and ensuring a safe environment for all. Responsibilities
- Conduct regular patrols of the premises to deter unauthorised access and identify potential security risks
- Monitor surveillance cameras (CCTV) systems continuously to observe activity and respond promptly to any suspicious behaviour
- Enforce access control procedures, verifying credentials of visitors and staff as required
- Respond swiftly to alarms or emergency situations, including medical incidents, by providing first aid if necessary
- Maintain detailed logs of daily activities, incidents, and security breaches for record-keeping purposes
- Assist in loss prevention by observing for theft or vandalism and reporting incidents to management
- Collaborate with local authorities or emergency services during incidents or emergencies
- Ensure all security equipment is functioning correctly and report any faults or issues
Skills
- Proven experience in surveillance, loss prevention, or security roles is advantageous
- Familiarity with CCTV systems and other security technology
- Ability to remain calm and composed during emergencies or high-pressure situations
- Basic first aid knowledge to provide immediate assistance when needed
- Excellent observational skills with attention to detail
- Strong organisational skills to maintain accurate records and reports
- Good communication skills for liaising with team members, management, and external agencies
Requirements
- Valid SIA Licence (required).
- Previous security experience preferred but not essential.
- Excellent communication and observation skills.
- Ability to work independently and remain vigilant throughout night shifts.
- Reliable, punctual, and professional attitude.
- Right to work in the UK.

Pay: £15.00-£18.60 per hour
