Duties
- Assist residents or clients with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, eating, and mobility to ensure comfort and safety
- Support the implementation of individual care plans tailored to each person’s needs and preferences
- Maintain clear and respectful communication with clients, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care
- Use IT systems to document care activities accurately and update records regularly
- Drive to clients’ homes or care facilities as needed, ensuring timely support and transportation
- Monitor health conditions and report any changes or concerns promptly to senior staff or healthcare providers
- Promote a friendly, respectful environment that encourages social interaction and emotional well-being
Requirements
- Valid driving license and ability to drive safely for home care visits or transportation needs
- Previous experience working in a care home or providing home care is highly desirable
- Knowledge of developing and following care plans tailored to individual requirements
- Fluency in English with excellent communication skills to engage effectively with clients and team members
- Basic IT skills for maintaining accurate electronic records and documentation
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to listen actively, empathize, and communicate clearly
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in fast-paced environments
