Due to our continued expansion, we are seeking a dedicated, professional Qualified Dental Nurse to join our team. We offer a premium base rate of £16.00 per hour, a highly supportive workplace culture, and hands-on training with advanced cosmetic and restorative technologies.
The Role
This is a highly varied and modern clinical role where you will work chairside across multi-disciplinary treatments, ensuring an exceptional, low-stress patient experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Chairside Support: Provide flawless chairside assistance to our friendly dentists and hygienists during a wide range of general, cosmetic, and preventative procedures.
- Digital Dentistry: Support our same-day crown restoration creation using advanced CEREC digital workflows and intraoral scanning systems.
- Patient Care: Welcome, reassure, and care for patients, maintaining an empathetic and elite standard of service from arrival to discharge.
- Decontamination & IPC: Take strict ownership of infection prevention and control (IPC), ensuring the surgery, instruments, and equipment meet pristine clinical safety standards.
- Clinic Operations: Manage accurate electronic patient records, update treatment charts, and ensure laboratory work is logged and tracked efficiently.
Requirements
- Qualifications: Must be a fully Qualified Dental Nurse with an active, valid registration with the General Dental Council (GDC).
- Technical Aptitude: Prior experience with digital workflows (e.g., CEREC, digital impression scanners, or CAD/CAM systems) is highly desirable, but a strong willingness to learn modern tech is essential.
- Compliance: Excellent, up-to-date knowledge of HTM 01-05 decontamination guidelines, safeguarding, and general CQC regulations.
- Attributes: A warm, friendly personality, exceptional communication skills, high reliability, and a true team-centric work ethic.
- Flexibility: Open to either full-time hours or a structured part-time job-share agreement.
