Salary: £33,000–£36,000 DOE per annum (pro-rata)

About the Role
Hatchlings is seeking an experienced and passionate Early Childhood & Behaviour Consultant to join our growing team. This early intervention role supports children aged 18 months to 11 years, delivering high-quality, individualised support across family homes, schools, and nurseries in London.
You will provide both 1:1 intervention with children and coaching and guidance for parents, caregivers, and educators. The role involves regular travel across London and surrounding areas.
You will work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team, including teachers, SENCOs, Occupational Therapists, Speech and Language Therapists, Educational Psychologists, Educational Consultants, and Behaviour Analysts. Individualised goals are developed based on baseline assessments and in partnership with families and educational settings.
You will receive direct supervision from a Hatchlings Director, with ongoing support to learn and apply the Hatchlings model and philosophy. You’ll be fully embedded in a supportive team environment, with weekly meetings, termly training days, and opportunities for professional growth.
This role is particularly suited to a BCBA, ABA Supervisor, Teacher, or experienced practitioner with a strong interest in parent coaching, naturalistic behavioural interventions, education, and community-based support.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage a caseload of 8–10 clients per week (approx. 20 direct contact hours per week on a 24-hour working week, pro-rata)
- Develop measurable and achievable goals in line with family, school, and Hatchlings London framework
- Deliver high-quality coaching, mentoring, and advice to families and professionals
- Attend weekly 1:1 supervision, team meetings, and group supervision sessions
- Create supportive environments for children and families using least restrictive interventions
- Apply evidence-based naturalistic behavioural interventions (NDBIs) including ESDM, PRT, JASPER, Behavioural Skills Training, and The Hanen Centre
- Respond to queries in a timely and empathetic manner
- Support resource development and social media initiatives
- Thrive in a fast-paced environment, managing your own time and workload with supervision
- Practice ethically within your professional scope
Desired Experience
- 2+ years’ experience working in educational settings
- 3+ years’ experience in ABA, either in home programmes or other ABA settings
- 1+ year of supervisory or mentoring experience
- Master's Degree at minimum a Bachelor's Degree in a relevant area such as Education, Psychology, ABA
