About the Role
As a Commis Chef, you'll work alongside experienced chefs, supporting the preparation and delivery of high-quality dishes while developing your skills in a professional kitchen. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to build a long-term career in hospitality.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare fresh ingredients and assist with food preparation.
- Support the kitchen team during service across the restaurant, hotel and events.
- Maintain high standards of food quality, presentation and consistency.
- Follow food hygiene and health & safety procedures.
- Keep workstations clean, organised and well stocked.
- Learn from senior chefs and develop your culinary skills.
What We're Looking For
- A genuine passion for cooking and quality food.
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn.
- Ability to work well under pressure in a busy kitchen.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
- Previous kitchen experience is desirable but not essential.
- A catering qualification is an advantage but not required.
