As this is a mobile role, you will travel between Oasis schools across Birmingham to provide catering support where needed. You must have a full driving licence and access to your own vehicle to be considered for this position.
About the Role
As a Mobile Food Service Assistant, you’ll provide flexible catering support across a number of Oasis school sites in Birmingham.
You’ll assist with food preparation and service, help keep kitchens and dining areas clean and organised, and support the wider catering teams to ensure a smooth and efficient service.
The role will involve working at different locations, so flexibility, reliability and the ability to adapt quickly to different teams and environments are essential.
What You’ll Do

Assist with the preparation and serving of food and beverages

Maintain clean, safe and hygienic kitchen and dining areas

Replenish food displays and service counters as required

Support deliveries and store supplies appropriately

Follow food hygiene, health and safety procedures

Provide a friendly and helpful service to customers, colleagues or visitors

Previous catering or food service experience is helpful but not essential, as full training will be provided

Term Time Only – Equated Pay
This role works XX weeks per year. Your salary will be paid in equal monthly instalments across 12 months, meaning you receive consistent pay throughout the year, including during school closure periods.
