About Us:
Vanza Ltd is a well-established vehicle dealership based in Cardiff, specialising in commercial vans, pick-ups, and cars. Due to continued growth, we are expanding our in-house mechanic team and are looking for an experienced and motivated Vehicle Mechanic to join our workshop.
Role Overview:
As a Vehicle Mechanic at Vanza Ltd, you’ll be responsible for diagnosing, servicing, and repairing a wide range of vehicles, including commercial vans, pick-ups, and passenger cars. You’ll work as part of a friendly and professional team dedicated to maintaining high-quality standards and customer satisfaction. Being a team player is essential. We sell a range of vehicle predominately Ford experience in Wet Belt replacement preferred.
Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out servicing, maintenance, and repairs on commercial vans, pick-ups, and cars.
- Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults using diagnostic equipment.
- Perform MOT preparation work and ensure vehicles meet safety standards.
- Complete all work to a high standard, efficiently and accurately.
- Maintain workshop tools and equipment in good condition.
- Work collaboratively with other team members and support junior technicians when required.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a vehicle mechanic or technician.
- Strong knowledge of commercial vehicles (vans and pick-ups) as well as cars.
- NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair preferred.
- Good diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Full UK driving licence required.
