Duties
- Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and disinfecting surfaces in commercial settings
- Clean and sanitise washrooms, kitchens, and communal areas to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
- Empty bins and dispose of waste responsibly
- Maintain cleaning equipment and supplies, reporting any issues or shortages promptly
- Follow health and safety guidelines at all times during cleaning activities
- Assist with specialised cleaning projects as required, including carpet cleaning or window washing
- Ensure all areas are kept tidy and presentable throughout the working shift
Skills
- Proven experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial work is preferred
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Good physical stamina to perform manual cleaning tasks efficiently
- Reliable and punctual with a professional attitude towards work responsibilities
- Knowledge of health and safety procedures related to cleaning operations
This role is suitable for individuals who take pride in delivering high standards of cleanliness within busy environments. Prior experience in janitorial services will be considered an advantage, but full training will be provided for the right candidate.
