We are looking for a highly proactive and organised Retail Operations Supervisor to join our team in Glasgow.
This is a hands-on position for someone with previous supervisory, team leadership or managerial experience who takes pride in making sure a busy retail environment runs properly.
The most important qualities we are looking for are proactivity, organisation, accountability and clear communication.
You will help organise the day-to-day running of the store, ensure daily duties are clearly planned and communicated, and make sure routine tasks and end-of-day checklists are completed meticulously.
We are looking for someone who does not simply wait to be told what to do. The right person will naturally identify what needs attention, take ownership of responsibilities and follow tasks through to completion.
Personality is also extremely important. You should be positive, dependable and comfortable working as part of a team while helping create a welcoming environment for both customers and colleagues.
Responsibilities include:
- Organising and helping oversee daily store operations.
- Planning and communicating daily tasks and priorities.
- Ensuring routine duties and end-of-day checklists are completed properly.
- Proactively identifying tasks and operational issues.
- Maintaining high standards of organisation throughout the store.
- Communicating clearly with staff and directors.
- Supporting both physical store and online-store operations.
- Helping create a positive and productive working environment.
We are looking for someone with:
- Previous supervisory, managerial or team leadership experience.
- Excellent organisation and attention to detail.
- A genuinely proactive approach to work.
- Strong communication skills.
- The ability to take responsibility and work independently when required.
- A positive attitude and strong team mentality.
- The ability to work consistently and ensure important routine tasks are not overlooked.
A genuine passion for sneakers, streetwear and fashion would be a major advantage. Knowledge of the sneaker industry, online retail, or experience buying and reselling sneakers and clothing would also be highly valuable.
