Reports To: Contracts Manager
Location: Based in Bristol with projects across the UK (Travel Required)
Contract Type: Full-Time, Permanent
Salary: TBC
Schedule: Monday to Friday, though weekend/night work may be required to meet retail handover dates
Licence/Certification: SMSTS, CSCS, First Aid (required) & Full Driving Licence
What You Will Be Doing
- Running day-to-day site operations from mobilisation through to handover.
- Coordinating subcontractors, materials and deliveries to keep programmes on track.
- Managing Health & Safety compliance in line with company and client policies.
- Making confident, proactive decisions when issues arise on site.
- Keeping paperwork (site diaries, snag lists, variations, handover docs) accurate and up to date.
- Reporting regularly to the Contracts Manager on progress, risks, and commercial matters.
- Representing the company on site in a professional, client-facing manner.
What You Will Need
- Proven experience managing retail fit-out or refurbishment projects.
- SMSTS, CSCS (Black or Gold), and First Aid certification.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage subcontractors.
- Flexibility to travel nationwide and work nights/weekends where required.
- Commercial awareness and a practical, problem-solving approach.
Bonus If You Have
- A background in joinery or shopfitting.
- Experience delivering projects in live retail environments.
- Familiarity with digital site management tools and reporting systems.
