Overview
We are seeking a reliable and physically capable General Site Labourer for a Grounds Maintenance company. This role involves assisting with various site activities, supporting the smooth operation of construction or maintenance projects, and ensuring safety standards are maintained at all times. The ideal candidate will be eager to learn, hardworking, and able to work effectively in a team environment.
Responsibilities
- Assisting with general site clearance, including moving materials and debris
- Loading and unloading supplies and equipment as required
- Following health and safety protocols at all times to minimise risks
- Operating basic tools and machinery
- Reporting any hazards or issues to supervisors promptly
Skills
- Good physical fitness with the ability to perform manual labour for extended periods
- Must have experience with driving machinery i.e, diggers/dumpers etc
- Ability to follow instructions accurately
- Basic understanding of health and safety procedures on construction sites
- Experience in carpentry, concrete works and ground works
- Willingness to learn new skills and adapt to different tasks as required
- Reliable, punctual, and committed to maintaining a safe working environment
- Previous experience in construction or labouring roles is advantageous
Pay: £13.00-£15.00 per hour
