The Role
As a Landscaping Team Leader, you will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day site operations, leading and motivating a small team, ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently and to an exceptional standard.
You will be expected to manage workloads, communicate effectively with clients and management, and maintain a productive, positive working environment. This role requires a hands-on leader who can confidently manage others while maintaining their own productivity.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, supervise and motivate your team.
- Ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to agreed deadlines.
- Maintain excellent standards of workmanship and site presentation.
- Plan and organise daily workloads and allocate tasks effectively.
- Complete daily progress reports and communicate updates to management.
- Liaise professionally with clients throughout project delivery.
- Manage deliveries, materials, and site resources.
- Conduct daily checks on tools, machinery, and equipment.
- Promote and enforce health and safety procedures, including PPE and safe manual handling practices.
- Maintain a clean, organised, and professional working environment.

Essential Skills & Experience
We are looking for a highly capable individual with proven experience in landscaping and construction who can demonstrate:
- A minimum of 5 years' experience within landscaping or construction.
- Strong practical experience in paving and walling.
- The ability to lead and manage a team effectively.
- Excellent time management and organisational skills.
- A strong work ethic and attention to detail.
- Confidence working independently and as part of a team.
- The ability to perform consistently in varying weather and site conditions.
- Professional communication skills and a customer-focused approach.
- Full UK Driving Licence
- Minimum 5 years' experience in paving
- Minimum 5 years' experience in walling
Preferred
- CSCS Card
- Plant or machinery operation experience
What We Offer
- Competitive daily rate of £170–£200, depending on experience.
