Our proprietary product portfolio — including Robosol EPOS, Ochannel, and the emerging TradeFlow B2B SaaS platform — sits at the heart of how our clients manage their commerce, fulfilment, and operational workflows.
The Opportunity
We are looking for a Head of Commerce & Omnichannel Products to take strategic ownership of our commerce product portfolio. This is a senior, high-autonomy role for a product leader who combines sharp commercial instincts with a genuine understanding of modern retail and B2B commerce technology.
You will own the product vision, roadmap, and go-to-market positioning for three distinct but connected platforms: our established Robosol EPOS solution, Ochannel (our omnichannel integration platform connecting retail and wholesale operations to Business Central), and TradeFlow — our new multi-tenant B2B SaaS commerce platform targeting wholesale distribution clients.
This is a rare opportunity to shape a growing product portfolio at a pivotal stage, working directly with the CEO and cross-functional teams across engineering, implementation, and sales.
Key Responsibilities
Product Strategy & Roadmap
- Own and evolve the product vision and multi-year roadmap across Robosol EPOS, Ochannel, and the TradeFlow commerce platform.
- Define and prioritise the feature backlog based on client insight, market research, competitor analysis, and commercial opportunity.
- Align product investment decisions with Robosol’s growth targets, including TradeFlow’s SaaS commercialisation goals.
- Identify market trends across unified commerce, omnichannel retail, and B2B digital trading and translate them into product opportunity.
Product Delivery & Engineering Collaboration
- Work closely with engineering leads to translate roadmap priorities into well-defined epics, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
- Own release planning and milestone governance across the commerce portfolio, balancing new feature development with platform stability.
- Define and maintain product documentation including functional specifications, data dictionaries, and integration design briefs.
- Drive TradeFlow platform decisions covering multi-tenancy, API architecture, mobile commerce, and BC integration patterns.
Client & Market Engagement
- Act as the primary product authority in client conversations, pre-sales engagements, and solution scoping for commerce-related opportunities.
- Gather and synthesise feedback from existing EPOS and Ochannel clients to inform iterative product improvements.
- Develop compelling product positioning and messaging for each platform, working with marketing and sales teams.
- Support the sales team in winning new TradeFlow SaaS clients, contributing to demos, proposals, and commercial structuring.
Commercial & Performance Management
- Define and track product KPIs covering adoption, retention, revenue contribution, and client satisfaction across the portfolio.
- Own the SaaS pricing and packaging strategy for TradeFlow, evolving the model as the platform scales toward its target client base.
- Contribute to Robosol’s annual planning process with product-level revenue forecasts and investment cases.
What We’re Looking For
Essential
- 5+ years of product management experience, with at least 2 years in a senior or head-of product role.
- Deep domain knowledge of EPOS, unified commerce, or omnichannel retail technology — you understand how modern POS, OMS, and channel integration systems actually work.
- Experience owning a SaaS product roadmap, ideally in a B2B or B2B2C context.
- Strong grasp of API-first architecture, integration patterns, and multi-tenant platform design — sufficient to make informed product decisions and challenge engineering trade-offs.
- Proven track record of taking a product from roadmap through to client adoption and commercial growth.
- Excellent stakeholder management: able to influence without authority across engineering, sales, and client-facing teams.
- Commercially minded — you think in terms of revenue, retention, and market positioning, not just features.
- Outstanding written and verbal communication, with the ability to articulate complex product concepts clearly to non-technical audiences.
Desirable
- Familiarity with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central or equivalent ERP platforms and how commerce systems integrate with them.
- Experience in wholesale distribution, FMCG, food and drink, or pharmaceutical verticals.
- Exposure to React Native mobile app development or Progressive Web App commerce experiences.
- Prior experience in a software consultancy, partner organisation, or ISV environment.
- Understanding of B2B digital trading, EDI, or e-procurement workflows.
