Universal Trade Frames Ltd is looking for a Production Operative to join our Hardware & Gearing department.
This role is essential in preparing our PVC-U windows for the next stage of manufacture. You'll ensure products meet our quality standards before fitting the required gearing and hardware ready for assembly.
Key Responsibilities
- Carrying out quality inspections on completed frames
- Fitting gearing and hardware to customer specifications
- Identifying manufacturing defects before products move through production
- Maintaining production targets whilst ensuring quality is never compromised
- Supporting colleagues to achieve daily manufacturing schedules
- Keeping work areas clean and organised
What We're Looking For
- Excellent attention to detail
- Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
- Reliable and punctual
- Good communication skills
- Manufacturing or factory experience is beneficial but not essential
- Full training will be provided
