Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and assist with seating arrangements to ensure a smooth flow of service
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS (Point of Sale) systems, ensuring timely delivery
- Provide knowledgeable recommendations and upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales
- Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation and cleanliness
- Monitor tables throughout the dining experience, promptly addressing guest needs or concerns
- Follow food safety protocols and maintain hygiene standards in all aspects of service
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate food preparation and ensure orders are correct and timely
- Manage cash handling, billing, and processing payments accurately using POS systems
- Assist in setting up dining areas, refilling supplies, and cleaning tables to uphold a welcoming environment
- Promote a positive atmosphere through energetic engagement with guests and team members
Experience
- Previous experience in hospitality or restaurant service is preferred but not required; training will be provided for motivated candidates
- Familiarity with serving techniques, food safety standards, and basic food preparation is advantageous
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy periods
- Excellent guest service skills with a friendly, professional demeanor
- Basic math skills for handling payments accurately and managing bills confidently
- Kitchen or culinary experience is a plus, providing insight into food preparation processes
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high energy levels

Pay: £13.00-£16.00 per hour
