We are seeking a dedicated Forklift Driver and Yard/Warehouse Operative to join our team. This vital role supports our operations by carrying out warehouse activities and ensuring the safe and efficient handling of roofing materials.
Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts safely and efficiently to load, unload, and move roofing materials.
- Assist with materials handling and receiving processes.
- Ensure the warehouse environment is clean, organized, and compliant with safety standards.
- Support team members in daily operational tasks.
- Handle heavy lifting with proper technique to maintain safety.
- Collaborate with colleagues to meet delivery schedules and customer expectations.
- Qualifications
- Proven experience operating forklifts.
- Strong knowledge of materials handling.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely.
- Basic math skills for inventory management.
- Roofing experience.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
