Casual Funeral Bearer
Could you help us deliver a first class funeral service to bereaved families?
AB Walker, a family owned funeral directors based in Reading, and an established part of the local community, has a vacancy for a casual funeral bearer.
Roles and responsibilities:
· Assist with conveying the coffin onto the hearse
· Assist with checking correct flowers are loaded onto the hearse
· Driving as and when required
· Attend Operations Department monthly meetings
· Availability for monthly 1-2-1 with Operations managers

Previous job experience is not necessary and full training will be given.
Full, clean, manual driving license required.
Our working hours are between Monday to Friday, 8.30am to 5.30pm.
Actual hours worked will be variable. They are dependent on both your availability and the business requirements.
Salary: Zero hours contract; Rate per carry: £34.00
