Role: Teaching Assistant
Location: Lincoln, Lincolnshire
Start Date: As soon as possible/September 2026
Contract: Flexible temporary roles (day-to-day, short-term and long-term)
Salary: £93 - £105 per day (depending on experience, role and/or qualifications)
About the role
Looking for a rewarding role in education this September?
At Heart of Supply, we're recruiting passionate and dedicated Teaching Assistants to support schools across Lincoln and the surrounding areas. Whether you're an experienced Teaching Assistant, Learning Support Assistant, or have transferable experience working with children and young people, we'd love to hear from you.
As a Teaching Assistant, you'll play a vital role in helping pupils build confidence, develop independence and achieve their potential. Working alongside teachers and school staff, you'll support learning in the classroom, work with small groups and individuals, and help create a positive environment where children feel encouraged, supported and ready to succeed.
No two days are ever the same. One day you may be supporting a child to overcome a learning barrier, the next helping a whole class engage with a lesson or providing additional encouragement to a pupil who simply needs someone in their corner.
Whether you're looking for day-to-day flexibility, a longer-term placement, or a route into a permanent role, we'll work closely with you to find opportunities that match your experience, strengths and career goals.
About the schools
Heart of Supply works closely with a fantastic mix of schools across Lincoln and the surrounding areas, including primary and secondary schools, academies, local authority settings, and specialist SEND provisions. - A kind, confident, and calm approach, with a genuine passion for helping pupils succeed
- The ability to follow a teacher’s lead while using your initiative to support individuals and small groups
