In this pivotal role, you will:
- Ensure we meet our statutory duties as a local authority in relation to school governance
- Play an active part in shaping and supporting Local Authority Trusts emerging through the Schools White Paper
- Help lead through Local Government reorganisation as we expand the number of schools for which we are responsible
- Drive high standards of compliance and meaningful engagement with schools
- Support and empower school leaders and governing boards so that every school can succeed
