Ramage Transport have vacancies for HGV Class 1 Day Shift Distance Drivers.
The role of the HGV Driver involves loading, delivering and collecting palletised goods to and from the customer sites in a timely and professional manner whilst driving responsibly and safely within the law at all times.
Applicants applying for the role of HGV Driver should have/be:
- Experience working within an HGV driving role loading, delivering and collecting goods from customers sites
- Class 1 driving licence, Driver CPC with a minimum of 35 hours completed and valid Digital Tachograph card
- Ensure trailers are loaded in a safe and secure manner
- Complete daily defect sheets for vehicles and trailers
- Follow all company operational procedures
- Comply with the requirements of legislation and operating procedures relating to the use of drivers hours and working time directive.
- An understanding of Health & Safety protocols and the ability to follow these guidelines in the workplace
- Excellent customer service skills and strong attention to detail
